Appleton police say a suspect is in custody, in connection with a suspicious death case on the city’s south side.
A woman was found dead in an apartment on Valley Road early Friday morning. Police say her car was missing, and investigators entered it into a national database as stolen. It was found around 11 a.m. Friday in Kentucky. The driver was arrested on a probation hold.
An autopsy on the woman is scheduled for Monday in Milwaukee.
Police believe the death is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the community.
