A former Republican governor is offering some advice to Governor Evers.
Tommy Thompson says Evers needs to find a way to work with the Republican-controlled legislature. He says both sides have good ideas and it’s up to the governor to find the road between those.
Thompson had a legislature controlled by Democrats for 12 of his 14 years as governor. He also thinks Evers should issue some vetoes to “establish his territory.”
