Prosecutors believe a marijuana deal led to the murder of an 18-year-old Green Bay man.
Federico Abarca was shot in the parking lot of an apartment building on the city’s east side last Friday night.
21-year-old Jared Williquette, 20-year-old Jarid Stevens, 18-year-old Colton Kehoe, and 17-year-old Gavin Rock were taken into custody the next day. Prosecutors think Williquette shot Abarca while they were trying to rob the victim. Abarca went to Green Bay Preble High School.
Police Chief Andrew Smith says Albarca’s family, school and community were affected by the foolish and terrible actions of four young men.
All four suspects are behind bars on a $500,000 bond.
