One of the people hurt in last Sunday’s pileup on I-41 South near Neenah is talking about the crash.
Kennan Timm of De Pere was on his way to work in Oshkosh. He says he was going about 30 miles an hour when white-out conditions hit suddenly. He had no time to stop and T-boned the car in front of him. After about 15 minutes, and getting hit repeatedly from behind, Timm climbed over the highway median to an ambulance. Timm got eight staples in his head and he says he’s just glad to be alive.
The Winnebago County Sheriff’s department is holding the cars involved in the pileup at the City of Neenah’s yard waste site on Tuller Road. Deputies hope to start releasing them to their owners tomorrow.
