The Fourth of July fireworks and parade in Oshkosh will go on.
That’s according to City Manager Mark Rohloff, after Sawdust Days organizers announced they won’t put on the festival anymore.
He says a group is looking at holding a one-day event on the holiday at Menominee Park. He believes it would be similar to what other communities have, and it would be family-friendly.
Rohloff says the city will continue to partner on the fireworks show and the annual Veterans Parade.
