A Republican congressman from northeast Wisconsin says he’s seen no commitment to denuclearization from North Korea.
President Trump is holding a two-day summit with that country’s leader, Kim Jong Un.
Congressman Mike Gallagher of Green Bay doesn’t think they even know what North Korea means by “denuclearization.” In the past, he believes North Korea’s stance was for the U.S. to leave the Korean peninsula, so North Korea could have total dominance. Gallagher says he hasn’t seen anything that proves Kim Jong Un is any different from his father.
Gallagher hopes Trump will be successful, and he believes all Americans would like to see a diplomatic solution to the situation.
Gallagher was a guest on Fresh Take with Josh Dukelow on WHBY this morning.
