People can check out some local artists online, thanks to the Appleton Public Library.
Spokeswoman Tina Krueger says they’re creating a collection called FlipSide. She says all of the artists are either from the Fox Valley, they’ve performed here, or they have ties to the area.
There are about two dozen artists on the library’s website, and Krueger says they’re looking for more submissions next month.
Other libraries in bigger cities, like Seattle, Austin, and Nashville also have online collections.
The library is hosting a concert Thursday night to celebrate. Walt Hamburger, Car City, and Copper Box are playing in the lower-level meeting room, starting at 7 p.m.
