The organizers of Sawdust Days still owe the City of Oshkosh nearly $36,000 dollars.
City Manager Mark Rohloff says the bill for special event fees went out last August. He also learned there were initial talks about moving the event to Winneconne, but village officials were not interested.
Organizers announced last Friday that the festival won’t return to Menominee Park around the Fourth of July.
