Police in Neenah think K9s can be valuable in catching human traffickers.
Officer Stu Zuehls says the dogs are often involved with traffic stops to search for drugs. He believes suspects usually have drugs with them because they get victims hooked on them. He says it’s one more tool to interrupt the process. He says it allows them to have contact with the victim, and potentially the abuser.
Zuehls says traffickers pass through the Fox Cities on I-41 on their way north from Milwaukee.
