Prosecutors are formally charging four people with the murder of a Green Bay Preble High School student.
They accuse 21-year-old Jared Williquette of shooting Federico Abarca during a drug robbery in the parking lot of an apartment building last month. They believe 17-year-old Gavin Rock set up the deal. 20-year-old Jarid Stevens and 18-year-old Colton Kehoe were also arrested. They’re all facing counts of first-degree reckless homicide conspiracy to commit armed robbery and lying to police.
Prosecutors say Abarca sent a Snapchat to a friend to bring marijuana vaping cartridges because he had a buyer named Gavin. They say the friend heard a gunshot five minutes later. Willequette is accused of telling investigators that he took out his gun and told Abarca it was going to be a robbery.
