The two candidates for Oshkosh mayor squared off in a forum last night.
Mayor Steve Cummings is facing Deputy Mayor Lori Palmeri on April 2nd.
On housing in the city, Cummings says it’s important to encourage more people to move back into neighborhoods. He says they also need to send a message to landlords that improving their properties will increase their value.
Palmeri wants to raise awareness about programs to encourage home ownership. She says neighborhoods with more homeowners are more successful neighborhoods.
Cummings is seeking a third, two-year term.
