A top Democratic lawmaker isn’t sure how much political strategy was behind the decision to hold the Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee.
President Trump narrowly won Wisconsin in 2016 and he also carried nearby Michigan.
Assembly Minority Leader Gordon Hintz is from Oshkosh. He says he’s sure some political consideration went into the decision. He thinks it’ll mobilize people and show democrats can be successful in 2020.
But Hintz believes there were a lot of factors. He thinks the event will help mobilize people for the campaign.
