There’s been more than 25 car thefts in Green Bay so far this year.
Green Bay Police Commander Paul Ebel says most cases involve people leaving keys in their vehicles. He says most cases are crimes of opportunity.
Investigators don’t think it’s an organized group doing the thefts. They say young people are also responsible for a number of cases including a 12 year old.
