Milwaukee will be the center of the political world for Democrats in the summer of 2020, and a local lawmaker believes that will have an impact on the entire state.
The Democratic National Committee announced this morning that the party’s convention will be in the city.
Rep. Amanda Stuck of Appleton says they want to highlight the state and show there’s strong support for Democrats in the state.
Stuck thinks people will realize that there’s more to the state than cheese and beer.
The DNC picked Milwaukee over Miami and Houston.
