Appleton police say they busted a driver’s education teacher for trying to have sexual contact with a girl.
Officer Meghan Cash believes 74-year-old Charles Rodgers reached out to the Appleton girl through social media and text messages. She says investigators are working on the details, including whether Rodgers posed as someone else.
After school police officers got a tip, they were able to catch him before he was able to meet up with the girl.
Cash says Rodgers was connected to the girl through the driving agency, either as a current, past, or prospective student.
