Oshkosh school administrators are going to look at different options for health insurance coverage for teachers and staff.
The move comes several months after the school board decided to keep the current plan. There were concerns about potentially losing teachers over their benefits.
Superintendent Vickie Cartwright says there are a lot of things to consider. She says the increasing cost of health insurance goes along with that. She says they also looked at the claim rate and knew they needed to put things in place to hopefully lower it.
The district will seek bids from insurance carriers starting in June. Last fall some board members believed the situation is unacceptable and unsustainable.
