Governor Evers believes accepting the federal Medicaid expansion money would help more children receive mental health treatment.
He toured Catalpa Health in Grand Chute this morning. He says if the state wants to focus on mental health, the state needs the necessary resources to make it happen.
Evers included the expansion in his proposed budget. Majority Republicans in the Legislature oppose it.
The governor is crediting the work Catalpa Health is doing to make sure children and families can thrive.
