Many people forced from their homes in Green Bay because of flooding this past week are getting a chance to see the damage. And many are returning home to condemned signs on their front door.
City building inspector Rob Cormier says it may take those home owners a while before they’re up to standards.
He says there’s 90 homes on the list to inspect and so far they’ve only had two homes not condemned.
Some local businesses are offering free help to those impacted by flooding.
Several U-Haul dealers are offering free storage for thirty days.
The owner of Vans Lawn and Snow Care offered his time to help people get water out of their home and move personal property.
Haven Animal Rescue and Community Outreach is offering a place for pets who can’t go home.
