A report from a statewide business group shows there’s a need to bring more workers to Wisconsin.
Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce also believes current employees could get more training to fill other jobs.
President and CEO Kurt Bauer says unless something changes the current talent shortage won’t go away. He says there’s a race for talent to make sure companies in both the private and public sectors have the workers they need going forward.
Bauer believes it’s also important to show young people what jobs are available in the state. He hopes that will keep more of them from moving away.
