Work is starting on an apartment project on the former Kimberly paper mill site.
Village Administrator Dani Block says the development is called The Roots. She says there will be three buildings at Maes Avenue and White Cedar Parkway on the east side of the site. She says two have 16 units and one has 12 units. She says they’ll have a central common area that the developer will add amenities to.
She believes the apartments will be done in the fall. On the west end of the site the first new home is almost done.
Block says sales are picking up for the rest of the single-family lots.
