Waupaca County Sheriff’s deputies say two runaway students from the Rawhide Boys Ranch stole an SUV and got into four separate police chases.
The 15- and 17-year-old boys are accused of taking the SUV from a home just outside of New London Saturday evening.
Deputies say police officers from New London and Clintonville, and Sheriff’s deputies from Waupaca and Shawano counties got into chases with the suspects. The first three were stopped because of high speeds.
They say the boys crashed in Shawano County during the final chase. They were taken into custody.
