Governor Evers will be in Fond du Lac today to meet with local leaders and see some of the areas damaged by flooding.
Earlier this month, ice jams and melting snow pushed the Fond du Lac River over its bank and forced evacuations.
The governor declared a state of emergency as many communities across the state dealt with similar situations.
Evers says he’s looking for different ways to help flood victims and to prevent future flooding.
