Governor Evers stopped in Fond du Lac this morning to see the flood damage in the city, and talk with first responders.
He got an update on the situation from local officials, and visited a home along the Fond du Lac River.
Evers is working with state agencies to see if there’s a way to help people in need. He’s asking people to report the damage to their homes and apartments to emergency management staffers. He wants to put together an overall estimate of the impact.
Evers also toured Darlington, in southwest Wisconsin, to check out the flood damage there.
