Governor Evers doesn’t see a conflict between agriculture and conservation.
Groundwater contamination is linked to dairy farms in some parts of the state. Evers says the state needs to be aware of manure and how we get rid of it. But he thinks farmers and environmentalists are on the same page. Evers thinks the farmers are just as concerned about the future of the land.
Evers doesn’t believe there has to be a trade-off between the two industries.
