Outagamie County sheriff’s officials say a 43-year-old inmate died by suicide this morning.
Officials say the man had been in custody on a $25,000 cash bond since August of 2017 for repeated sexual assault of the same child and three counts of exposing a child to harmful material.
The man was found around 2:30 a.m. and staff performed CPR and tried to save him.
Officials say he was last seen alive around 1:30 a.m.
