The Neenah man charged in a boating crash that killed two sisters last summer made his first court appearance today.
A Winnebago County court commissioner set a $10,000 signature bond for 44-year-old Brian Sullivan. He’s scheduled to be back in court May 23rd, for a preliminary hearing.
Sullivan is facing two counts of of homicide by drunk boating for the deaths of 26-year-old Lauren Laabs and her 20-year-old sister, Cassandra. They were from Neenah.
Prosecutors say Sullivan had a blood-alcohol level of .093 when he collided with the Laabs family’s boat. about a mile from Paynes Point in the Town of Vinland last August.
