A 911 dispatcher is talking about how she recently helped a Waupaca County family deliver a baby.
Ashley Cheeseman went into labor on March 4th three weeks before her due date. She didn’t have enough time to get to the hospital and she delivered her son in a bathtub.
Dispatcher Jessie Schmitz walked Cheeseman and a friend through the process until paramedics arrived. She says she loves having a good call, and it’ll be something she always remembers.
Cheeseman and baby Jace were taken to a hospital and they’re both doing well.
