A trial is expected to start today in a deadly train crash in Oshkosh.
47-year-old Shawn Schettle is facing a series of charges after two women were killed in December of 2017. They include two counts each of homicide by driving drunk and hit and run causing death.
Prosecutors say he ran off after hitting a train by the corner of Washington Avenue and Broad Street in the downtown area. 37-year-old Emily Mueller and 43-year-old Jessica Roby lost their lives. The trial is scheduled for four days in Winnebago County court.
