The next leader of Green Bay will be former state Representative Eric Genrich.
He defeated Brown County Supervisor Patrick Buckley 58 percent to 42 percent. Genrich has some plans for the city including investing in infrastructure and fixing roads. He also wants to grow the economy. He says he’s looking forward to the challenges and opportunities the job presents.
Genrich will take over for Mayor Jim Schmitt. Schmitt decided not to run for re-election after 16 years in office.
