Computer problems are being blamed for voting issues in the Outagamie County clerk’s office.
They say the server wasn’t receiving results from the modems at local precincts.
That means municipal workers had to call or fax in results.
In some cases they took pictures of voting machine tapes and emailed those into the county clerk’s office.
County workers then had to manually post those results.
They’re trying to figure out what went wrong.
Officials say they’ve been testing the system for the past few weeks and everything worked well.
