The Outagamie County clerk says a computer issue led to delays in the counting of votes last night.
Election workers around the county had to call in their results, fax them, or send them other ways.
Clerk Lori O’Bright says their server wouldn’t receive the results through a modem from voting locations. Staffers are working with the company they work with to find the cause.
O’Bright says some election workers emailed pictures of the results, directly from voting machine tapes.
All of the numbers had to be entered by hand, by workers at the county clerk’s office.
