The Green Bay Children’s Museum is moving from its downtown location to the Bay Beach area later this month.
The current spot will close on April 21st. Museum leaders say the new building on Bay Beach Road will solve issues like parking and give them room to expand.
Executive Director Toni Burnett says they’ll have a space younger kids. She says it’s for toddlers 15 months and younger so they’ll be safer.
Burnett says the new museum will focus more on STEM and include an outdoor discovery area. The move will cost about one million dollars. The new Children’s Museum location will open by May 17th.
