Agencies from all over Brown County are getting some training for emergency situations.
It’s called the Rescue Task Force Training and firefighters, officers, and paramedics come together to work side-by-side.
Howard Public Safety Director Ed Janke says the goal is to save more victims. He says large-scale events require a lot of resources. He says if something happens, they’ll need to use everything available in Brown County.
More than 500 people will go through the training. It includes larger agencies and smaller volunteer groups. The simulations are at the Resch Center to make them more realistic.
