Survivors of sexual abuse and their loved ones are getting together tomorrow in De Pere.
The Green Bay Catholic Diocese is holding “A Day of Healing” retreat on the grounds of St. Norbert Abbey.
Ellen Mommaerts is a co-founder of the Journey of Hope program, and she says they’ll meet in small groups to talk about their journeys toward healing. She says the Diocese offers support throughout the year.
The program is mostly based out of St. Thomas More Church on Appleton’s north side.
