Support is coming from across the country for a Green Bay police K-9.
Pyro had multiple surgeries after he was stabbed last Sunday. A Facebook fundraiser has already raised over $33,000 for his medical bills.
A local company called Global Recognition is selling T-shirts. The company’s Nicole Grieger says they’ve had more than 550 orders. She says people from places like California and Georgia have reached out, and it’s been an incredible showing of support.
The Green Bay police department say people have stopped at the downtown station and donated over $1,800 in person.
