A state appeals court is siding with Governor Evers, and his decision to rescind appointments that Majority Republicans confirmed during a lame-duck session.
Evers made the move after a judge ruled that the session was unconstitutional. That decision was later put on hold, and Republicans asked the third district court of appeals to restore the appointments.
Evers reappointed all but 15 of the people. One of the rescinded positions was for a spot on the Public Service Commission. Two others were for members of the UW System Board of Regents.
