The City of Oshkosh may be next to ban vaping by minors.
The Common Council will have a first reading of the proposal tonight.
City Manager Mark Rohloff says the school district is asking for the rule. He says they want to bring it to the attention of parents, and make sure students know it’s a dumb idea to vape.
It’s illegal for minors to have vaping materials, under federal law, but it’s not outlined in Oshkosh rules.
