City crews are counting on warm roads and sidewalks to help melt the snow that’s predicted to fall during the next day or so.
Public works officials in Appleton and Oshkosh say they won’t pretreat roads.
Green Bay’s public works director says they’ll pretreat elevated areas like bridges and overpasses, places that don’t have direct contact with the warm ground.
Steve Grenier doesn’t expect this April snow storm to be anything like last year’s.
Appleton and Oshkosh city officials say they have enough salt if they need it but don’t expect to use much.
All three cities also have plows ready to go just in case.
