An auction for the operations of Shopko Optical Centers ends today.
Companies have until the end of this week to put in their bids. Shopko officials hope a new owner would be able to save around 700 jobs. The Ashwaubenon-based retailer is closing all of its department stores after it went into bankruptcy.
A court hearing on the Optical auction will be held next week and a federal judge could approve a sale.
