Some students in Oshkosh are helping highlight different cultures in the community.
The Oshkosh West High School Academy for Global Studies is one of the groups that’s organizing tomorrow’s Unity in Community.
Junior Olivia Everett says they’re trying to bring people together who wouldn’t normally mingle. She says they’re bringing back some of the groups that performed last year at the inaugural event to showcase diversity.
The event runs from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Oshkosh Convention Center.
Everett says it’s a day of free family-friendly activities, entertainment, and cultural food.
