Police think the suspect in the double-murder also had a plan to “cause harm” at Neenah High School.
The Neenah school district issued a statement today, in the wake of the arrest of high school junior Alexander Kraus. The administration says Grand Chute police told them about the plan, and there is no danger to students and staff.
Officials say the school day is proceeding as normal today. The district is working with police to have an additional presence at the high school, as a precaution. Counselors are also available for students.
Administrators are thanking police. They’re calling the situation another reminder to remain vigilant to keep people safe.
