A priest for the Green Bay Catholic Diocese is reacting to the fire at the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
Father John Girotti is calling it a loss for all of western civilization. He says this is one of the most known architectural landmarks in France. He says it would be the equivalent of the burning of the White House and the Capitol combined.
Girotti has been to the cathedral twice and he’s made scale models of it. He’s certain that it will be rebuilt and there will be a full restoration.
