Green Bay mayor Jim Schmitt presided over his last city council meeting last night.
He’s held that top spot for 16 years but didn’t seek re-election.
Mayor-elect Eric Genrich will be inaugurated this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. along with Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach. He won re-election.
The ceremony is on the third floor of the Brown County Courthouse.
