A presentation about sexual assault that’s usually available to high school students is now open to the community.
Family Services in Green Bay hosts the event with actors telling the stories of local sexual assault survivors.
Devin Vandertie is one of the volunteers. She says they talk about the things that cause people hesitation, like not wanting to report something because they’ve been drinking. She says it makes it more relatable to people.
Vandertie thinks it’s a way to show support to people going through a difficult situation. The event is tomorrow night at 6:00 p.m at the Meyer Theatre in the downtown.
