While a century-old building in downtown De Pere was going up in flames early this morning, the owner of the restaurant inside stood and watched.
Ilde Nielson ran Ogan Restaurant, at the corner of South Broadway and George streets. She says she doesn’t know when she’ll be able to reopen, and when she’ll be able to see her customers again.
The fire leveled the building. It was also home to Turba-Schroeder Photography, and XO Fitness.
