Fox Valley Technical College is opening a new salon and spa learning lab for students.
The school expanded existing space on the Grand Chute campus for a 3,300 square foot facility.
Dean of the service division Kim Olson believes the salon will meet the growing demands in the industry especially since for profit training salons in Appleton and Green Bay closed.
Olson says they provide a variety of hair, nail and massage services for a lower price than at traditional salons.
