An exhibit featuring the history of guitars will be opening soon in downtown Appleton.
GUITAR is touring the country and it will be at the History Museum at the Castle through January 5th of next year.
HP Newquist created the exhibit and he’s in Appleton to help set it up. He says some of the guitars are over 200 years old and the newest was created using a 3D printer.
He says people will also be able to see the world’s largest playable guitar. It’s 43-and-a-half feet long.
There’s a soft opening for the exhibit at the beginning of next month. The grand opening is set for June 1st.
