People will have a chance to say goodbye to the Brown County Arena today.
The county is holding an open house this afternoon.
County Executive Troy Streckenbach says they’re opening the doors at noon and putting on a formal event at 12:30 p.m. He says it’s a farewell ceremony to recognize what the arena meant to the community, and the events that took place.
From 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. people can pick up two free folding chairs while they’re available. They can also buy a four-seat row for $50. Crews will start tearing down the arena this week.
