Governor Evers says it’s “blasphemy” and “horrific” for President Trump to claim that doctors in the state want to execute babies.
He’s reacting to the president’s statement, made over the weekend, during a rally in the Green Bay area. Trump was weighing in on a decision by Evers to veto a bill that would require doctors to keep babies alive, after a failed abortion.
Evers says there’s no need for the law because doctors aren’t killing babies after they’re born.
