A local health care provider is giving patients struggling with infertility another option.
Fertility Clinic Coordinator Tina Van Egeren is with Aurora BayCare Medical Group. She says embryo adoption happens when someone donates their remaining embryos after IVF.
Van Egeren says the process is considered a traditional adoption that requires legal paperwork and a home study.
Aurora offers the transfer procedure but the embryos have to come from an outside agency.
